This is the first entry into our blog as we travel through the New Year--2009!
We have happily celebrated birthdays with friends, Mary Reininger and Beth Marble, attended a University of Georgia gymnastics meet, and gambled in Biloxi!
In fact, the gambling weekend was quite an experience! Usually Sherrie stays on the "wimpy" slot machines and has meager winnings. That is how the weekend began, with little or no progress in Biloxi and meager winnings in New Orleans for Sherrie as Bill continued to win here and there. We made a quick stop in Lake Charles to use our free slot coupons. I had $10 and Bill had $25. What excitement! My $10 turned into $325 after 3 pulls, then an extra $60 and another $70. Bill's free slots turned into $75! So, we are off to the start of a busy year!
